Sony’s slim and light PSP video game handheld

Which video game has the best whistle—Sony or Microsoft? After endless arguments between two, the issue that has broken the monotony has the same blood group.

Yes, now the discussion who among them offers the best games? It seems that Sony Corporation has an answer to this as the group is planning to introduce a slimmer model of the PlayStation Portable (PSP) video-game player.

The revamped PSP is a third lighter than its predecessor and is19% slimmer with improved battery life and video display. Expected to hit the market in September, the PSPs can be plugged into television sets to play on the larger screens or to watch video downloaded to the devices.

“All of the PSP entertainment content viz. games, photos, videos can be accessible now on PSP as well,” said Kaz Hirai, chief executive officer of Tokyo-based Sony’s worldwide video-game business.

This new version will take on Nintendo Co.’s DS portable player that has outsold the PlayStation Portable five to one in May in Japan on 4 June.

With the cut in the price from $199 to $169, the sales of the product have increased to 90%.

Packed with games and accessories, the PSP will be available in two special editions viz. “Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron” and “Daxter”. While the former will be white with the image of “Star Wars” villain Darth Vader on the back, the later (silver version) will include a DVD with episodes from “The Family Guy” television series.

Here is the model holding the new Playstation Portable PSP-2000 during a news conference in Tokyo on 17 July 2007.

The new updated version will allow the users to watch digital television broadcast on the new PSP by attaching a digital TV tuner (see in the pic). It has been specifically designed for this portable playstation

SEGA Private Show 2008 Summer

It is just back from SEGA Private Summer Show 2008 which were presented several arcade games. So what’s new?
Firstly, a new racing game we were presented, R-Tuned Ultimate Street Racing. Nothing unusual, you can “drifter” a little, but it’s still really an arcade game. Even if you make an exit route, you are immediately handed over on the road. The game can be played up to 4 players. By cons, you’ll be able to buy a card that allows you to save your progress. So if you win a new car or a new circuit, you can charge the new body the next time you go to a party. Unfortunately, SEGA did not include a system of classification, history that we can compare our results with other players over time.

The second game was the Galileo Factory, a medal game. Within this big machine, there is an entire circuit “great 8″ that you will earn coins, or dropping balls to win more “corner”. Par contre, cette grosse bête tendinite !!! As against this big beast with tendinitis! In fact, you need to turn a crank to launch pieces per package in the Galileo Factory. You can play 2 players simultaneously.

Then we had the right to the House of the Dead EX. But to die of boredom! It is a shooting game with arcade-gun and small pedal that goes with..

Initially, it might have been thinking about a Time Crisis Like, the kind of game where you use the pedal to hide or get out of your planque and shoot zombies.. But, in fact, you’ll have a whole series of games challenge , With whom you play with the gun alone or pedal alone, but never both at the same time. Basically, there is not a true story mode.

Finally, it was able to test the game Black Jack Ace Nailed where you can play against five players, the game Jackpot “Where’s Charlie?”, A set of tongs’ UFO Catcher 8, and another Medal Game, Monopoly Second Edition.

Star Trek Game

New star trek game and this is very conceptual gaming are providing unique technology, and whole gaming is really very extra ordinary and very lovely working by Shane McGlaun:

I tend to play more video games than board games, but when you have a group of friends over sometimes it can be fun to go old school and whip out some board games. Star Trek fans looking to prove that they have the most useless sci-fi factoids stored away in their neural net will be glad to hear a new Star Trek board game is available.

The game is called Star Trek Scene It and it’s a trivia game that uses a DVD to show clips from the various TV series and feature films int the Star Trek franchise. I see Picard is included on the box image; he was the best Enterprise captain ever if you ask me.

Two collector’s editions of the game are being offered that both come with additional content and embossed metal tins that the standard versions lack. Among the collector’s editions are the Captains box and the limited edition Ships version, both available to purchase now. I wonder if the instructions are written in Klingon

PC-Dart Game: Geeky Recreation!

If you are fed up of looking at your PC the whole day and recreation for you is limited to those computer games at max since your job doesn’t give you the flexibility to move out and relax then take a chill pill! I’m saying this as here is another computer game (don’t get irritated) with a difference. This one gives you mobility too. We are talking about the computer connected PC-Dart Game. All you need to get the game in your office is a USB port on your computer and 120€.
With this much at your end, all you need to do is have fun by installing the dart board on the wall and connection in the PC. As you hit the target, your screen will display the score to keep the competition levels high!
Not just this, it also features a number of gaming modes to keep you glued to the game even after frequent plays.
Initially the game will be available only in Japan and we hope to get hands on it in other countries as well. After all, recreation cannot be limited to a particular country.
But if you want to catch the action life, you can have a look at the video here.
